BACKGROUND

Brunsdon is an insurance brokers with over 85 years of experience, helping large corporate businesses, small to medium enterprises and private clients to manage their risk.

The Brief

Brunsdon needed a new website that would act as a modern platform from which they could deliver the levels of advice, expertise and personal service that their clients had come to expect.

RESEARCH & USER EXPERIENCE

After a briefing workshop with the client, our user experience design specialists agreed on the sitemap for Brunsdon’s new website.

Covering a wide selection of sectors and policies, the site needed to make it clear that they could cater for three specific areas:

  • Corporate Business
  • SME Business
  • Private Clients

The structure and key messaging were also agreed, with a focus on Brunsdon’s independence, experience and reliability.

CREATIVE & DESIGN

Now that the structure of the pages had been agreed, our team of website designers could transform the wireframes into page designs.

A style guide of core colours, typography, image and icon style was created to meet Brunsdon’s brand values.

Close-up abstract photographs were used as banner images on each of the sector and service pages, with bespoke icons designed to illustrate their areas of expertise.

Anytime, Anywhere

It was important for the website to be accessible on any device by both visitors and the employees at Brunsdon who were managing the site.

With its responsive website design, both the front end of the site visited by customers and the content management system used by Brunsdon’s staff can be viewed on a desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet.
