Coronavirus - Time for Us to Take Action, But Keep Thing's Going
There’s no getting away from that fact that these are very worrying times for all of us. The continuing spread of Coronavirus is causing a lot of uncertainty and anxiety about how it’s going to affect our colleagues, friends, families and our businesses.
None of us know how long it’s going to take to get back to normality and this makes it all the more important that we do whatever we can to keep business moving forward and to support each other as much as possible.
The safety of our people is our top priority and we have been following all of the official guidelines provided by the Government and the NHS in order to keep our staff, clients and suppliers as safe as possible.
Business as usual
At UpriseVSI, we have a robust service continuity plan in place which means that we are able to continue to provide support for our clients’ websites, booking and scheduling systems and applications even if we are not in the office. It also means that we can carry on designing, developing and delivering existing projects as well as quoting for and starting new ones.
As a company that fully embraces flexible and home working, all of our team members are already set-up to work remotely, and do so on regular basis. We use several different online communication and collaboration tools which facilitates remote working and allows us to continue to communicate with our teams and our clients, wherever they are.
With the Government now recommending a social distancing strategy and asking people to work from home wherever possible, we have decided that, from Wednesday 18th March, our teams will be working remotely and we will be replacing any face-to-face meetings with online meetings or conference calls. Other than that, it’s business as normal.
